Outsourcing Support Offshore accounting services form an integral part of BDO Alto Limited’s service offering in Jersey and are being provided through its sister company BDO Alto Outsourcing Limited. Companies often find themselves short-staffed or unable to hire staff with appropriate skills or experience, particularly in the area of client accounting and similar services. Other situations arise where it is simply uneconomic for organisations to establish their own infrastructure. BDO in Jersey works closely with its clients to obtain a full and detailed understanding of their needs and to offer a bespoke solution tailored to their requirements and circumstances. In particular, we only perform a very limited number of services for local regulated entities or fiduciary companies. Our team members have past experience however, in performing professional services for these regulated entities, whether as auditors or advisers of banking institutions, trusts, funds or of the intermediary companies themselves. Team dynamics Our team locally consists of chartered accountants and specialist accounts preparers who are experienced in all conceivable types of corporate structure. This mix of skills and background means that we are able to offer a more comprehensive service. Competitive cost Our fees are usually based on actual hours worked and we will try to estimate this up front so that you can assess the cost effectiveness of the project. Our professional staff will be charged out at rates that we know are competitive locally. During the accounts preparation process it is our policy to keep you informed of all material issues and the potential impact on our projected costs and therefore fees. We are happy to negotiate fixed price ‘menu fees’ on a bulk purchase engagement basis.
